Trick or Treat on Main Street

The 2nd Annual Trick or Treat on Main
Street was a huge success. Created and organized by Lori Famularo at I
Thought About You, it’s been a hit with all the people of Yancey as well
as surrounding counties. It’s so nice to have so many people say to me
“Thank You. It’s such a nice thing to do for all the kids here”.
There were newborns, babies, dogs, parents, and families all out Trick
or Treating. I Thought About You had it’s own Ghoulish Zombie, handing
out candy and treats in the dark store with only a strobe light to see
by!! I’m already thinking of new, fun ideas for next year. I believe
this will become an annual tradition in Burnsville, said Lori. Thanks to
all the merchants who participated in yet another successful event.
